Re-Engineering (Reegineering)

Organisations worldwide are increasingly looking for managers who can successfully introduce and implement revolutionary change, managers who can direct the re-engineering efforts (reengineering).
Reengineering is a radical redesign of all or part of the work process of a company. In reengineering, change drastically alter the structure, technology, and its people by starting from scratch in the organization re-examine how the work is carried out.
Reengineering is not a substitute for the efforts of any changes that may be implemented in the company. Conversely, for many companies, reengineering is the first step in change. Reengineering provides a framework for making the changes.
